Here's another
great quilt, courtesy of my friends at the Quilting Circle of
Friends. We're having a Mardi Gras Parade, which means that the
participants make squares commemorating the celebration of
Mardi Gras, and then we visit each other participant's web site,
signing their guestbooks and leaving our squares; hence, the parade.
Being from the
Texas, and living only a few hundred miles from New Orleans, I got
to hear a lot about Mardi Gras. Although I was never able to attend
myself, many of my friends did, and always brought back tales of the
wild revelry that seized the city during the two weeks of the Mardi
Gras season.
