A few days
ago, my son was watching me make another cyber quilt, and he said,
"Mom, why don't you make one with the picture of all the CD
covers I've collected?" He's a big fan of Napster, Music
Match, and some of the other music file sharing program, and has
the album cover photos from about 250 different CDs. I proposed
this idea to the members of the Friendship
Quilting Ring, and once again, they all jumped at the chance
to make squares... I do believe that they are all as addicted to
quilting as I am...LOL!
So, in
response to my son's request, here is my CD quilt.
These are my
squares for anyone who follows suit and makes a CD quilt to take
for it.

provide a download site for it since I have been unable to
find it at any of the sites I generally use. The font used
on the button and as text is 'Arial'.
Of
all the albums for which I have done the cover squares
above, my favorite is 'Rubber Soul' by the Beatles, my
very favorite band of all time; the music here is my
favorite song from that album, and my favorite song by the
Beatles... 'It's Only Love'. |
