One Little Candle
When the day is dark and dreary,
And your way is hard to find,
Don't let your heart be weary,
Just keep this thought in mind:
It is better to light just one little candle
Than to stumble in the dark.
Better far that you light just one little candle,
All you need is a tiny spark.
If we'd all say a prayer that the world would be free,
A wonderful dawn of a new day we'd see...
And if everyone lit just one little candle,
What a bright world this would be.

Since I have
been involved with the Internet, I have had many requests for
prayers go through my mailbox from Internet friends, and each time I
have gotten one, I would light a candle for the person. It made me
feel I was doing something for someone, but I have always felt I
could do more. So, I decided to create these candle pages as means
of making a visible link to those prayers.
The pages are
divided into two sections - prayer requests for healing and comfort,
and candles lit as a memorial for a loved one.
Everyone is
welcome to request that a candle be lit for someone in need or for
in memory of a loved one who has gone into the Summerland. Just fill
out the form below and when I receive it, I will add your request to
the page. Please bear in mind that there will be candles lit here
for people of every race, religion and social background. Please do
not make requests that discriminate against anyone, or make any
derogatory comments about those subjects. Such requests will be
denied.
When filling out the form,
please be sure to specify if you are requesting a prayer candle or a
memorial candle.
